Common reasons why gifts are not being distributed
A subscription to the Lite plan is mandatory to use this app.
*Please note that a Lite plan subscription is required even when using a development store.
In these cases, please verify the functionality in the live environment. A product preview only reflects the state at the moment the preview button was clicked. Therefore, please be aware that the preview page will not reflect changes even if you refresh the browser after updating settings.
Please access your Shopify theme editor and ensure that the App embeds for our app are enabled. If they are not enabled, please refer to the "Initial Setup" in our help center to enable them and then check again.
Please check the Status of the relevant campaign on the campaign list screen. If the Status is set to "Draft," please change it to "Active" and check again.
Please review the Eligibility conditions configured for the relevant campaign. Ensure the Cart contents or customer details meet these conditions and try again.
If a Component is in a state where it cannot be sold (e.g., out of stock), the Gift product cannot be distributed. In this case, please take one of the following actions for the Component product:
Add inventory.
Set "Continue selling when out of stock" to Yes.
Set "Track quantity" to "No".
Please check the Status of the Gift product in Shopify Product management. It cannot be distributed if it is in "Draft" status. In this case, switch the Gift product status to "Unlisted" (Hidden) or "Active" and check again.
Please check the publishing section of the Gift product in Shopify Product management. If the Online store is not selected, it cannot be distributed. In this case, add "Online store" in the publishing section and check again.
This app only supports the Online store. Therefore, gifts cannot be distributed if you attempt to purchase via the Shop app, Buy Button, or other channels outside the Online store.
